Before founding Sarah Crossley Mediation & Workplace Investigations, Sarah practiced exclusively in workplace law – advising, mediating and litigating matters related to employment, labour and human rights matters.
During her years of practice, Sarah was known as trusted advisor and tenacious litigator by her clients and opposing counsel alike. As a result, Sarah’s approach to dispute resolution is practical, creative and effective.
Sarah is also a sought after and trusted workplace investigator. She regularly conducts workplace investigations, independent reviews and/or culture assessments. Sarah is known for her ability to navigate complex and time-sensitive mandates as well as her ability to make those whom she meets feel comfortable speaking with her.
Sarah is regularly retained to conduct workplace investigations as an external, independent investigator on topics such as discrimination, workplace harassment, bullying, sexual harassment and/or assault, and/or general misconduct (including policy violations).
Sarah uses a balanced and pragmatic approach to understanding the parties’ underlying interests and will work hard to assist the parties (and their legal counsel) reach a resolution.

Sarah has been conducting workplace investigations since her call to the Bar in 1999. She is a sought-after speaker and writer on workplace investigations, and co-authored the inaugural Chambers Guide to Internal Investigations in Canada.
